The House investigative committee has released a collection of approximately 70 images from the estate of late found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the latest in a series of release from a cache of more than 95,000 photos the panel has secured from Epstein's property. It contains photographs of excerpts from the novel Lolita written across a female's body, and redacted pictures of female international passports.

This disclosure comes mere hours before the December 19th due date for the Department of Justice to make public every files connected to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These images pose further queries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its custody," said the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Made Public

Several of the images released on this week show Epstein in discussion with academic and activist Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates positioned beside a female whose face is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a table opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the newest affluent, powerful men to be pictured in Epstein estate photographs disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - formerly released pictures also include US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photos is is not considered indication of any wrongdoing, and a number of the featured figures have said they were in no way implicated in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a press release accompanying the photograph disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply background information or timeframes for the photographs.

"Images were chosen to offer the public with openness into a representative sample of the photographs obtained from the estate, and to offer understanding into Epstein's network and his profoundly disturbing behavior," the announcement states.

The disclosure also features several images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita penned in ink across several locations of a woman's body, like her chest, feet, hipbone, and spine. Lolita tells the story of a minor who was exploited by a older literature professor.

One excerpt from the work inscribed across a female's chest states, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a collection of images of women's identification and ID papers from states worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the data on the documents, such as names and dates of birth, is censored but the panel said in a announcement that the passports belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".

A further image depicts Epstein sitting at a workstation closely surrounded by three women whose features have been obscured - one individual has her hand on Epstein's chest under his shirt, and another individual is leaning to view a nearby computer. Epstein appears to be helping the third individual attach a bracelet.

Another photo released is a image of text messages from an unidentified individual who says they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Photo Publication Comes Before DOJ Deadline

The committee has thousands of photographs in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "both disturbing and ordinary," its press release on Thursday explained.

The House Oversight Committee first issued a subpoena to the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on allegations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein property submitted to the committee are separate from what is often referred to "Epstein-related records". That material are documents in the DOJ's possession related to its own probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Transparency Act, which Donald Trump made law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its documents. The extent of what is found in the DOJ's files is unknown, and it's probable that a significant portion of the material will be significantly obscured, comparable to the committee's documents
