Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
