Mohamed Salah Extends Regret to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the uproar from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to criticising the club and stating his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
Jones also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “I understand there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have remained strong in the period after the interview fallout. The player is convinced the outburst were not designed to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a good place,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and on a positive run.”
